The Falls Trail commences from The Wilderness Center. After experiencing the Wilderness Exhibition the walk takes you to the abandoned farm Kleif, and soon you will sight the lowermost waterfall. \u00a0Those daring can try their hand at towing themselves across the J\u00f6kuls\u00e1 River by a traditional cableway across.<\/span><\/p>\n

As you walk along the river, the falls appear one after the other. You\u2019ll follow a marked trail through the Kleifarsk\u00f3gur birch wood. The walk from the Center to the Laugarfell Highland Hostel takes about 6 hours. At the hostel you can relax in an outside pool of warm spring<\/span><\/p>\n
